Traditional Rattan baby walker – Ewe’s first day

Seven months today and Ewe’s just started using his baby walker. The odd thing is I am sure many people will find it funny to see one of these traditional baby walkers made out of rattan.

Traditional rattan baby walker - ewe's first day

As you can tell by the photo Ewe is enjoying his new found mobolization and now quick to move across the floor.

Rattan wheel

Rattan being a light and easy to source material on top of the fact its using basic technology such as this wheel which helps the baby walker glide across the floor you can see why people use them. On top of that its easy to maintain and keep Zoei used this one originally but no signs of aging..

Please tell me where to get one online or in U.S.?!? I don’t want to settle for plastic walkers.

Big problem is they are unlikely to pass American safety standards as there is a risk of the child slipping through the harness. Currently only seen this type in the Philippines myself but sure it could be shipped as art or something else?
