The real Italian brand Tonino Lamborghini isn’t impressed with Globe Tattoo and its “4G Tonino Lamborghini 4G broadband stick”. Stating that its a "counterfeited product[s]."

A press statement circulating via twitter on Wednesday stated the company has never manufactured nor "authorized any company to manufacture such a product."

The company said that Globe’s move to brand its 4G wireless broadband stick as a "Tonino Lamborghini" product "constitutes a serious trademark infringement."

Going on to add that Globe’s advertising campaign depicting Formula 1 racer Marlon Stockinger and brandishing the slogan "Feed your need for speed" is misleading, "deceitful and unlawful."

The campaign used by globe “leads to a serious likelihood between two different and separate brands and businesses that is to say ‘Tonino Lamborghini’ and ‘Automobili Lamborghini’," it said.

Tonino Lamborghini is a producer of luxury merchandise which are not automotive related. It was however founded by the son of Ferrucio Lamborghini, the founder of Automobili Lamborghini, the world-renowned luxury car company.

Torino Lamborghini is looking into legal action against Globe to protect its brand and image.

No official statement has been made from Globe on the matter.
