One thing I try to encourage is no sweets for kids and pretty much so Zoei shows exactly how it works for children. If they aren’t used to having sweet tastes as a kid they generally carry it on throughout life. My daughter Nicole is the same prefers to having fruits instead of sweets from choice even if they are both laid out in front of them. The reason being is that the sugary foods aren’t introduced to the diet as a child so later on in life they have no addiction or feel the need to eat them. In fact they prefer eating healthy purely out of habit which can only be a good thing.
Zoei in the photos you can see the toast has Cinnamon with sugar on one side but as you can see she eats the plain side leaving the sugar side well alone. Not an experiment by the way! it was just that April had done me some cinnamon toast and Zoei loves toast at the same time she’s well aware she doesn’t want the sugar… I was also in the middle of trying to get my lens to work properly on focusing which is why the photos are a little blurry looks like the camera will need to go in for an expensive overhaul.
