The cheating Filipina and bizarre expectations

Bit of a strange story i heard this afternoon that would be interesting to get peoples feedback and views on. It involves a foreign national and his girlfriend, they had been seeing each other for some time and eventually the guy bought a house and gave a regular allowance which was upto P100,000 a month but it wasn’t enough to be content with financial security and a man that loved her. When the guy went back to work abroad she begun seeing a married guy on the side. The twist to the story though is a bit unusual as the girls relatives emailed the guy abroad and told him about what was happening with the girl and it may not surprise anyone but he cut off everything financially straight away.

The reason i came about the conversation is that the people were asking advice on the foreigner as he won’t return emails or calls after they told him about the girl and her boyfriend on the side. Now the financial struggles have started not surprising with P100,000 swiftly removed from the scene. But an unusual story in the fact that the relatives contacted the guy and told him.

    Wow,

Good thing she got cut off. That is more than half my income. What an ungrateful girl. Sounds like a prostitute to me or a bar girl. I met a guy in Boracay and he met a bar girl there and she pulled all kinds of crap on him. He bought her a plane ticket the day before he left to his country and she was suppose to leave 3 days later and my gf saw her with a enougher foreigner the next night and was also living in enougher foreigners house lol.

The bizarre part of the story though is now the money is running dry the relatives can't understand why the guy won't get in touch. The Philippines seems to be a poisoned chalice for many especially if the woman has been damaged with the sex industry. But even then a lot manipulation and abuse goes on behind the scenes with family members.

I bet they have a hard time understanding 100000 a month is gone!!! Thats a AMERICAN SALARY.. What the relatives NEED to understand is that if your gf cheats on you there are so MANY fish in the sea here to chose from. 😛

Honestly, I can’t understand why he doesn’t get in touch either. Why would you cut ties with people who saved you from a lifetime of hell (A.K.A. getting into a bad marriage.) I do think it’s a bit foolish to send ?100,000/month (unless it’s a family of 100!), ?10,000 would make more sense. But think about it, he had a good relationship with a family he now knows he can trust. If I was looking for a wife in any country, I would think that would be a great asset. I hope this guy won’t continue to blame the entire family for this one girl. It’s obvious to me that they put his best interests ahead of his money and would undoubtedly find him a good woman if given the opportunity… Just my two cents…

Happens more often than you would realise.. there is a nature with westerners to help out in many cases and there are a lot of gold diggers out there aware of it. Soft targets, at the same time plenty of good people out there as well either way someone should always show restraint on anything financial as it often makes complications in the long run.
