Taking burial to the next level in the Philippines – St Peter Chapels

There is an odd sense about death in the Philippines that I find a bit too graphic in many cases. Especially when there are TV reports showing people being dragged around found dead in their apartments or the stage by stage photo of someone jumping off a building until they hit the ground. That simply in the UK wouldn’t be allowed, well most people would find it unacceptable even if it was and no doubt clog phone lines with complaints to stop it happening. But here in the Philippines there is what I can only describe as a morbid curiosity and it must have leaked into family funerals. Below you can see St. Peter Chapels offers “E-Burol” (E-Burials) where people can watch your wake over the internet as their chapel carries Wi-Fi is it a good idea or bad? I’ll let you decide.
