It may sound a bit of a plug for the sports exchange bar in Cebu but its not only the fact I know Kevin (not in person) but the fact several people have mentioned the establishment and it not only having a lot of investment into the business but also the fact its a real sports bar. For me that makes a big difference adding to the that Kevin is a fellow Brit which means he also has experienced the pubs in the UK and understands the thirst for good beer as well as good sport coverage.
Although the emphesis is on sports coverage via satellite enjoying the sport isn’t always available either due to time zone differences or the fact sometimes nothing is showing. This is why like Friday nights there is live acoustics aswell as other quiet periods ambient music at a level that allows for conversation. Something that isn’t always an easy thing in the Philippines!
Also the layout of the bar allows for screens pretty much wherever you sit add to that some culinary treats you have sport, good beer and great food all in the same location.
The other added advantage at the Sports exchange bar, Cebu is the full sized billard tables allowing play while watching games via satellite. In the future the addition of 2 replica formula one cars in a setup that allows you to simulate race any formula one track as well as darts for the more casual sports person. All in all a fantastic place and a must for the sports enthusiast when in Cebu as simply its the best and largest Sports bar in the whole of the Visayas region.
