the problem is the confirmation as they request Visa or mastercard and although my new BDO card is an international VISA debit card its not valid for international online use.. which sort of defeats the object of having the thing as i speci…fically requested the card for setting up my paypal account and speaking with the staff at the bank who said “yes” to find out when it didnt work via their call centre there is no policy with between BDO and Paypal. Once the confirmation side is up and running any bank account will work the frustration is that its taken me nearly a month to set this up to find it doesn’t work and now will have to head into the city just to get a Union bank e-on card so i can validate my paypal.. nighmare..lol

Been using Unionbank EON account for a while very few problems with using PayPal with them. But for every thing else they are crap e.g If the ATM goes wrong and does not pay out they take 15 days to give you your money back and if you don’t keep on to them they just don’t give it back. When your card is going to expire they want to take your card away and you make do without a card for 7 days they say but ends up closer to 14 days.

Having the same drama. BDO service is worse than McDonalds. No wonder why this country cannot progress. More than this that meets the eye, But that’s another story. It appears there is alot of people in this position. Thanks for the post.

Agree and it hasn’t improved or woken up to the fact its better to be functional than disfunctional. On the other hand a lot of this stuff is done on purpose same as no international banking codes as it means you PAY to use their remittance companies then PAY to receive funds then PAY to withdraw them.
