As some village idiots decided to ride on the back of a real disaster for some reason via twitter it created ripples as even myself had stated “reports had started to arrive”. Although I left it at that as nothing had yet been confirmed by any other media source, problem is even then its often speculative unless you actually get real video footage as the media battles to be the first on a story (even if they make it up). But why did twitter users do it? Could only come from the Filipino community as I couldn’t see anyone I know who would spread such rumours when people have families in areas of Samar. Little minds with too much time on their hands for anything positive. Big problem is confirmation of fact which is why I have posted this as no doubt there will be a lot more static with these morons.
