We were up in Banilad today grabbing some pastry dough when the craving for something to eat appeared. Initially it was a run to a Burritos place but it was outdoors so we settled on our favourite chain of Thai restaurants the Royal Krua Thai. As it was lunch we didn’t over burden ourselves with our normal amount of enough for 4 but went with a couple of simple dishes.
Having not had any curry for months and beef in nearly a year I skipped my usual and went for the beef in red curry. Not very hot and the beef was a little chewy but all in all a good meal.
April went with one of my favourite dishes which is chicken and cashew nuts in a sauce (can’t remember the name off the top of my head its D20 on the menu). Great dish as the nuts compliment the chicken although it was a bit over the top in flavour which we haven’t had before but we don’t normally come to this restaurant our normal one is in Ayala.
Polished off with a couple of shakes I went with the strawberry while April took on the ripe mango ideal to wash the food down and cooling off before heading to grab our pastry dough.
I have added some other photos you may like below of the restaurant interior so you can get a feel for the restaurant.
