I am not sure what goes wrong with take out food with restaurants here as the standard pretty much always seems to be lower than when we eat in. The Basmati rice was fine with the Chicken Biryani as were most of the other dishes but the chicken was cooked on the outside like a leather boot while on the inside it was still raw.
In Tandoori restaurants defence I have never had any problems in the restaurant itself and like I said often the quality of food on “takeaway” is terrible compared to eating on site. For example AA BBQ the calamari is always dry and rubbery when on takeout even though we live less than 5 minutes away. Anyway P1,500 worth of Persian food and a motorbike ride there and back last night to let Aprils parents experience some of the dishes and spiced food which all went down well. Bit of a pre Christmas treat.
