Today was the first venture out to start getting things organised for the blogging properly. First stop was replacing the Canon lens that had gone down and now seemed to work around 10% of the time and having this grinding noise inside of it. I had emailed Peter Go about my visit to PRG Photo shop in Cebu ahead of the visit to let them know I was coming and what I wanted luckily they had what I wanted in stock and no ordering was needed. A few test runs of the new lens on my Canon EOS camera and to say I went away happy would be an understatement with how much hassle this broken lens has caused. I wanted to mention a few things about the PRG Photo shop in Cebu because they were not only helpful and very professional they actually knew what they were selling and able to provide the product I wanted. As well as happy to grab anything else I wanted to poke around at, I was looking for a waterproof bag for my camera although there is a wide selection of bags available ideally I am looking for something double sealed in case I get soaked on the back of a motorcycle. Would say though its got the best selection of camera bags I have come across in Cebu though for generally use.
Another important factor when looking for Photoshop is that its new location in baseline is in the photo above its old location is easier to find along the main road (presently advertised for rent) but you will recognise the glass blocks above the building to know its the turning before you reach it and just carry on up about 100yards.
