Philippines Special Retiree's Resident Visa (SRRV)

The Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) also known as the “Retiree’s Visa” is a non-immigrant visa covered by the laws and provisions of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940.
Eligibility
This visa is issued to former Filipino citizens and non-restricted foreign nationals who:

  • Are at least 35 years old
  • Have No Criminal Record
  • Meet the Medical Standards
  • Meet the Investment Requirements


Enrollment Options

These are the options and monetary requirements for retirement:

  • With Pension
    • 50 years old and above
    • The required time deposit is US$10, 000.00 and a monthly pension of US$800.00 for a single applicant; US$1,000.00 for a couple
  • Without Pension
    • 35 to 49 years old – US$50, 000.00 time deposit
      • Can leave and re-enter the Philippines anytime
    • 50 years old and above – US$20, 000.00 time deposit
    • former Filipino citizens (at least 35 years old, regardless of the number of dependents) – US$1,500.00
    • Ambassadors of other countries who served and retired in the Philippines or are current and former staff members of international organizations including ADB – US$1,500.00
  • A resident retiree can include without additional deposit his spouse and an unmarried child below 21 years old; or two (2) unmarried children who are under 21 years old. However, the third or additional child/dependent of a foreign national retiree who is under 21 years old will have an additional deposit of US$15,000.00 per child/dependent.  The conditions and restrictions to the deposit are similar to that of the principal’s deposit.

Note: All monetary deposit in foreign currency should be converted to US Dollars or its equivalent in Philippine Pesos.
Requirements

  1. Accomplished SRRV Application Form
  2. Original Passport with Valid Entry Visa
  3. Medical Examination Clearance
  4. Police Clearance
  5. 12 pieces 2"x2" Photos
  6. Bank Certificate of the Time Deposit remittance to any PRA Accredited Banks

Non-Withdrawal of Deposit – The deposit or account shall not be withdrawn while an SRRV member, and the depository bank shall not allow any withdrawal without proper notice or approval from the PRA

Fees: 

US$1,400.00 application fee or equivalent in Philippine Peso (one time payment)

Note: If an applicant prefers to enroll under the With Pension Scheme, the following are the additional requirements:

  1. Certificate of Retirement Benefits issued by the concerned government and/or private entity which clearly states the identity of the applicant, date of the pension payment and the amount of the monthly pension

  2. Proof of the monthly pension remittance to the Philippines

Note: All documents obtained or issued abroad must have a Philippine Embassy or Consulate authenticated English translation, if written in foreign language.

Requirements for Spouse

  1. Accomplished SRRV Application Form
  2. Original Passport with Valid Entry Visa
  3. Medical Examination Clearance
  4. Police Clearance
  5. 12 pieces 2"x2" Photos
  6. Marriage Certificate or any of the following:

Fees:
US$300.00 application fee or equivalent in Philippine Peso (one time payment)

Requirements for the Dependents

  1. Accomplished SRRV Application Form
  2. Original Passport with Valid Entry Visa
  3. Medical Examination Clearance
  4. Police Clearance
  5. 12 pieces 2"x2" Photos
  6. Birth Certificate
  7. Additional Dollar Deposit – For the third child / dependent of a foreign national retiree, there is an additional deposit of US$15,000.00

US$300.00 application fee or equivalent in Philippine Peso (one time payment)
