From the numbers they give I count 37 ships in their Navy not 36. I wonder if that includes the Coast Guard as well.

Not a good sign when paramilitary outnumber the Army. I wonder if the PC is included in the paramilitary.

philippines is the most weak military defense system in south east asia… poor military equipment and lack of modern armament. it is becoz of too much politicking here in our country.

WE NEED leaders with determination not those who look for what they will live for but for leaders that will die for something great to the Filipino people. There development will occur and we will be recognize If that day will come I’ll be glad of it.

Hard to say.. I just came across the article and thought people might find it useful.. also with the increase of insurgent activity in the south maybe some of the information is lower than it should be as things may have been increased.

To be honest Saniza_rutor this article was written over a year ago there are nearly 1500 in TP. Where the information came from originally could even have been from some of my readings in books etc. I cross referenced with Wikipedia tonight and a lot of the statistics are still the same so seems the information is also still upto date.

We are under an development that is currently taking place. Once its done maybe our country will take it to the next level and participate in what other countries are in situation. When our country will become an emerging power in the later years…
