New plants being added to the container garden

Some are edible some are not but the main thing is they all add colour to the garden as well as many of them adding food sources. I am currently on the look out for “dwarf” coconut trees as I need around 10 of them but I have added our new plants below for you to take a look and if you know where to get dwarf coconut trees let me know please. The purple plant by the way in the second photo is actually Chilli’s it changes colour 7 times before its finally ripe and ready for eating.

Hey, saw your blog when I was doing a search for tropical gardens. I got my dwarf coconut trees from a guy who goes by the alias “Victor Chico” in I don’t know where you are exactly in the Philippines but I think this guy would be able to help you. His mobile number is +639178976551. I bought 3 dwarf coconut trees from him about 2 years ago and the trees are doing pretty well here in my backyard in Metro Manila.

Thanks for the number I am based down in Cebu so my only concern really would be the shipping costs as I need 6 – 10

Yep, I realized later on (after browsing thru your gardening posts) that you were in Cebu. Maybe if your wifey knows someone who works at the Department of Agriculture in Cebu you can probably get dwarf coconut trees for free. I was in the DA office here in my area and I got free seeds and fertilizers. 🙂
