I often see the kids messing around doing things which to be honest are funny as well as entertaining as you rarely see them with toys or even much supervision in the area so they get left to their own devices most of the time which is a bit sad at the same time it does make me wonder how much worse is actually dumping kids in front of a TV, PC or console instead. The kids here are all socially active with each other and the different generations get on. In the UK generally everyone splinters off to their own age groups which separates a lot of the bonds between family members.
Last week one of the games they were playing was “scavengers” which I found out by a sack being left in the road full of items they had collected. My wife April said how busy they had been searching for junk as scavengers to sell (although not really selling just role play). But they spent hours looking for scrap plastic bottles, old tins etc. etc. keeping themselves busy.
