Its sad when you come across things that drag the Philippines back down with crab mentality when others try to promote the country abroad with such ambassadors of sport such as Manny Pac-man others will drag the country down to its lowest level. Here is an example of such a thing now being spread across the internet and I would encourage other people that find doing this sort of stuff that it affects others internationally as a race.
Hanging a puppy on a washing line on clothes pegs after putting it through a washing machine is not only animal cruelty it does question the mentality of Jerzon Senador as well as is this normal behaviour in the Philippines from people outside the country. Even after negative messages on his Facebook he did the “laughing it off” as if its funny routine stating..
"hahaha,..winashing k p nga yan weh…" and "Hahaha, hnd ako makukulong noh..remember senador toh! aquh ng pa2pad ng Animal cruelty at kya kong bawiin yun!! ahahahaha."
Although he has now apologized online the stupidity in doing the act in the first place is likely to see him in court and prosecuted by PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) and if his Facebook account is to be believed “working for Ford Motor company” then possibly the company would like to take some action for bringing the company into disrepute.
To be honest I really don’t get idiots like this claiming for fame on the internet and its not the first time in recent months morons and animals have hit the headlines here Joseph Carlo Candare, a BS Applied Physics student another proud wearer of a stupidity award brutally murdered a cat and then blogged about it. Although now deleted an extract from the original blog post is below to give you an idea of the mentality of this University of the Philippines student.
"I pulled it on its tail and threw it. Then like some pro wrestler I jumped on it and my feet landed on it’s torso. Slam! Felt good! But the cat didn’t die, well not yet."
"I didn’t see it die but Myles said it coughed up blood or at least something like that…. This isn’t the first time I’ve killed a cat but this time it’s different,"
"Now everyone knows I hate cats. It’s an unexplainable feeling towards them. Like some internal hatred. I just don’t know why but I just cannot overcome my hatred for cats."
He was found guilty at a Manila court after PAWS brought a case against him. As punishment he will have to pay a fine of P1000 and do volunteer work at PAWS for 2 months. He will undergo professional psychological help from psychologist provided by PAWS.
