Behind every great news and life changing story lies people with the responsibility of delivering the news as it happens. We call them Broadcast Journalist and one of the best just happens to be a Filipino in the name of Cher Calvin.
Cher is a Filipina Broadcast Journalist who took up broadcast journalism in New York University and worked with TIME Magazine while completing her internship at Cable News Network (CNN) in New York. Later on she was offered a part-time job at CNN, and found herself working with both TIME and CNN until she moved to Manila to have her taste of Philippine broadcast journalism.

She visited the Philippines last week to cover a story and host a project called “Project Smile” where they uncover the lives of the less fortunate in Cebu City. The project also aims to give aide to those who are in need.
