Hard gay from Japan

With Kento back out in Japan at the moment he’s been sending things uniquely Japanese and Hard Gay pretty much fits into that category.. not sure if there is a strong gay leather industry going on in Japan but definitely a character worth watching for the laughs..

Hmm. Why am I not laughing? Maybe involving little children in adult humor makes me uncomfortable? Isn’t that the type of thing all the expats say to avoid in the Philippines?

I am not offended by the actor specifically but by him involving little children in sexually suggestive playing. I love to laugh but don’t see the humor in this one.

I don’t know if this post will be allowed to appear but I really am offended. That video reeks of pedophilia, especially when the camera zoomed in on the the baby girl with her face in his crotch on the slide and then kept the focus there.

Same conversation happened between me and my wife this morning as I said that they couldn’t do it in the UK.

At the same time the other day a discussion opened up about urinating in the street when someone did this on the road here mid day while kids played in the compound fence that he was urinating on. At the same time comparing to the UK doing the same thing may result in being put on the sex offenders list and a fine. Response from someone was that the Filipino doing it was just lazy to find a toilet while the British person was a pervert yet its the exact same scenario in both countries..

Is it a cultural difference that would allow the children to be filmed with a leather clad gay performer, denial or innocence? your guess is as good as mine.. If you go through the other clips he has though most are based on Gay innuendo?.

i guess it is not the fact that the children are with a leather clad performer as much as what he is doing to/with them.
him being gay is completely irrelevant. if the performer were a straight woman i would feel the same. children involved in sexual play with an adult being filmed for adult entertainment is what i see.
i have traveled a lot and am trying to remember any country where the average person would not raise their eyebrow at that video. are you suggesting it is a “cultural difference” between countries that makes it ok to do that in japan?
i have a several friends from japan and will have to show them the video to see what they think.
in the usa a person could be arrested for urinating on a fence in public also.(unfortunately, i may have done it a time or two in my previous life after a few drinks but didn’t get caught:) that also is completely irrelevant and does not justify what i see in that video.
honestly, would you allow your children to be in that video posted on the web? i really hope you will actually answer that question here.
thank you. i really do appreciate you allowing my post. i will stop attacking your video now and go back to being my usual lurker self.

Darn! i forgot to ask you one more question. with your experience living in the philippines, do you think the average person there would be offended or not by that video?

if a government official were to see a person filming that in cebu, would the person be arrested for human trafficking? i know that law has a very broad definition there and lately it seems to be more aggressively enforced. thanks. now, for real, i will drop it.

    Hi Rhod,
didn’t say I agreed with it but the excuse someone would give is cultural differences. Its more in line with what Japanese are uncomfortable with confrontation and invasion of a personal space. The reason the video is on here is because its something bizarre Kento came across in Japan.

I get in discussions all the time with people telling me how something is cultural and I just don’t understand being a foreigner. Which is normally to brush off things which are wrogn rather than dealing with it. E.g. sex trade often you will hear people say they are helping people out of poverty. Hear justifications for everything all the time rather than admitting a problem and dealing with it. Typical example of that was a post I did on why things in the Philippines need to change if you go to the first linked article you will see someone attacking the author. Telling them they should just concentrate on the good things as its embarrassing telling people about the bad..

I think thats one thing a lot of people struggle with that often we will look at things and think its wrong and say/do something about it. Would this happen in Cebu around kids to be honest from what I have seen and heard of these days would question if it was a matter of just not getting caught.

With children in the clips I was a bit uncomfortable about that to be honest at the same time the harrassment of people around Yahoo was funny due to the Japanese culture as it completely conflicts with the way they are how how they deal with people.
