Finding immigration office Mandaue Cebu, Philippines

A couple of people have asked me where is immigration lately well its about 5 – 15 minutes from SM Mall. If you head along the main road which has Pier 1 – 2 etc. on your right hand side and SM on your left just keep going on that road. You will pass Park Mall on your right after about 5 minutes from SM then another 5 minutes from there Nido Autos on your left and finally you will get to a part where the road narrows and on your right hand side you will see a small carpark which is very close to the fire station on your left :-

Park in the carpark (there is a guy who watches the vehicles I normally just give him P5 when I leave). Opposite the carpark is this junction :-

Literally behind the bush on the corner the immigration building begins. If you head in there ground floor they deal with tourist visa renewals etc. 13A and long term visas upstairs. But there is a reception area as you enter the building just ask there or ask the guard as you sign in where you need to go.

Final note WEAR LONG TROUSERS if your wearing shorts you will have to wait outside on seating which is next to the blue railings you can see which gets hot due to no shade. There are people offering to “fix” your visa on an “express” lane.. please dont use this service as you are only encouraging corruption. Ok you think you will get it done quicker but look at it the other way they could make you wait longer for not offering a bribe.. Personally I wait out of principle and sometimes its 20minutes and worst case 2 1/2 hours. Arrive before 11am and you will be dealt with swiftly and takes around the 20 minutes. In the afternoon they will just make you wait.

Problem is this is the way the majority of guys think here and I see it too often when they discuss their previous marriages in the U.S. that led to divorce and moving here. Only thing you may be able to do is contact someone in the legal profession to see what rights your daughter has if any. In the UK we have a Citizens advice bureau I doubt the Philippines has such a thing but in the U.S. they may and you could possibly email them directly for legal advice.
