Dust and smog in the Philippines

Dust and smog in the major cities in the Philippines can be a major health risk. Along with the burning of rubbish in provincial areas, although often the burning of rubbish is done to force away mosquitos with the smoke. It doesn’t take it away from the fact its a major health problem.
These things are a few of the important considerations you should take a look at when deciding where to live in the Philippines. You want to be near good roads, but not close enough to need super strength lungs to accommodate the dust and smog. You want to be a bit more provincial but in areas where fire burning isn’t permitted or at least not near where you live.
There is also a large problem relating to Indonesia and its forest fires as it clears land for palm oil production. To the point the pollution caused in the smoke released into the atmosphere produces more Co2 than the whole of the U.S. per day.
