Birds eye chili grow fairly easy in the Philippines pretty much anywhere but the more sun the better seems to be on the cards. This plant as you can see doesn’t look too happy but its a new one it will take time to develop only been there less than a year. Its location is in direct sunlight but this is part of the problem with going for sustainable living is that it all takes time to develop. The reason chili is good is that its not difficult to grow so a good one to start with as well as the fact the peppers are very colourful so even for its ornate use its a beautiful plant.
This is the big brother of the other plant it has been there a few years already. Bit difficult to see in the photo but its over 4ft tall and the reds you see all over it are birds eye chili’s. We generally harvest them dry them and then stick them in a pepper mill for topping meals.
